This season, my schedule allowed me to attend two Needham Concert Society concerts. Last Sunday was their 50th Anniversary Concert, and it included a piece commissioned in honor of the occasion.
The composer David Post was there and said a few words about his piece, which I enjoyed. The Mozart and Dvorak were wonderful.
It turned out that Zenas Hsu’s wife and young daughter were sitting behind me, and his daughter zipped over and joined him for walking back for their second bow.
