Scandal in Spring

Scandal in Spring, a free anthology from BookFunnel, was another good book to read on my phone while I’ve been reading hardcover Daisy Dalrymple books.

These were my favorites:

To Bind A Rogue, by Anne Knight
May 1753
Caroline Herringdon rescues Montgomery Simmons, third son of the Viscount of Orford, from Fleet Street Prison.

The Yellow-Polka-Dotted Bathing Costume, by Caroline Lee

Sebastian to Rourke: This is me, declaring my suit.
Rourke: Ye intend to court Althea?

Author’s Note:

Challenge: to write a story based on a feel-good summer song

Althea (and her doomed romance with Sebastian) was introduced in the last book of Those Kilted Bastards (you can start with The Duke’s Virgin Sister). And Rourke will absolutely get his chance to a) figure out how to handle the twins, and b) perhaps finally smile, when he hires a woman who isn’t at all who he thinks in The Duke’s Deceitful Governess.

Kiss the Rake Hello, by Tracy Sumner
Hampstead, England 1816
Alexandra Mountbatten and Cortland DeWitt

I actually already read this book, over a year ago!
