Joe and I enjoyed Spider-Noir, a live-action limited series with Nicolas Cage as the character he voiced in the Spiderverse movies. Amazon offered the option of watching it in either color or black and white. We watched it entirely in black and white, which was very atmospheric. I liked all the 30’s music (e.g., ‘Putting on the Ritz’), The dialogue was good and the cast was amazing: Nicolas Cage (Ben Reilly), Lamorne Morris (Robbie Robertson), Li Jun Li (Cat Hardy), Karen Rodriguez (Janet Ruiz) and Brendan Gleeson (Silvermane).
Favorite quote was by Silvermane:
Nobody’s Hero (# 7): Go forth and maraud!
I do hope there is a second season.
