I just finished Luna’s First Misadventures, a prequel in L. L. Gray’s Havenwood Mysteries series. The book contains three short stories and provides Luna’s origin story.
Fluff and Furballs
Lady Kaguya hosts a tea party on the dark side of the moon.
Luna is the event planner.
Radish Ruckus
Luna trains with Master Nezumi.
Cabbage Catastrophe
Luna takes a freelance job in Havenwood, CT.
We meet a very young Vivienne Silverthorne, and young(er) Agatha and Beatrice.
At the end of the book, Luna has some money set aside and presumably becomes a silent partner in Beatrice’s new bookshop.
I enjoyed all three stories, but especially the third one as Luna arrives in Havenwood.
Next up: The Frenzy at the Faire, to be reheased in two days.
