I just finished The Killer’s Dastardly Intrigue, the sixth and final book in Patricia Rice’s Gravesyde Village Mystery Series. This book is about dress designer Lavender Marlowe and tutor Fort, the youngest son of the Duke of Castlefield, Lord Terence Fortescue Dacre, commonly known as Birdwhistle.
I enjoyed the plan to scare off the bad guys with stink ghosts on pulleys, complete with a ghost operation center.
And the family finally found the missing jewels, hidden in the timepieces out of place in the family portraits (shelf clock, a pocket watch, and a wall clock).
New name of the village: Riverside Village.
